October 6, 2009 Chemtec Prepares to Expand Fabrication Shop |

Chemtec Energy Services, LLP recently approved plans to expand its fabrication facility in Willis, Texas. This expansion project will add another 7,000 square feet to Chemtec’s existing shop space. The new space will be used for Chemtec’s custom fabrication business which has seen steady growth over the past few years. Chemtec has been contemplating this expansion project for almost a year due to space constraints with the existing shop. Patrick Wadzinski, Chemtec’s Business Manager, conducted a study of existing shop utilization, and he quickly realized that considerable time was being wasted moving skids in and out of the shop (to make room for other projects). The new shop addition will minimize the need to move skids until they are ready for shipment. “We have completely outgrown our existing shop space, so the new addition will be a big help”, stated Milton Page, Chemtec’s President. “Our production capacity will be increased significantly”. Construction of the new building is underway and will be completed in early 2010. |
