Chemtec Energy Services, LLP recently approved plans to expand its fabrication facility in Willis, Texas. This expansion project includes the purchase of 4 additional acres of land, a new 10,000 square foot fabrication shop, and a new 7,500 square foot warehouse. The new space will be used for Chemtec’s custom fabrication business which has experienced tremendous growth. The additional 4 acres of land is located directly behind Chemtec's existing property. This area will be used for outdoor storage and for future growth. The new shop building will be used for pipe and structural welding and will contain two 10-ton overhead bridge cranes plus a number of smaller jib cranes. Chemtec's existing shop buildings will be used mainly for skid assembly. The new warehouse is almost 50% completed, and the remaining half should be completed before the end of March. An outdoor storage yard is also being constructed adjacent to the new warehouse. When completed, the storage yard will contain 40,000 square feet. “We have completely outgrown our existing property and buildings, so this expansion project will be a big help”, stated Milton Page, Chemtec’s President. “Our production capacity will be increased significantly”. This expansion project should be completed by the end of July 2012.
